My ECHO 1 STAG Arms MOD4 Airsoft gun stopped working.Plz help?
Ok I have had the gun for less than 2 weeks and have only played 1 real game with it. I have lubed the gun and taken VERY good care of it. Well I was outside today and was setting the hop up so that it would be perfect when all of the sudden it started making a screeching noise when I fired. It still fired BBs it just made that sound. I stopped and hen inside pissed off and read to use an alan wrench on the screw at the bottom of the handle and that would fix it. Well I do and it starts to fire normally. My dumb ass screwed it in more and then it just stopped doing anything. It won’t make a sound when the trigger is pulled or even act like it wants to fire. What did I do, and What can I do to fix it?
Sounds like it’s in your gearbox. You will have to take apart the gears and reshim them and put white lithium grease as lube. The gears are making that noise and since they are screeching it means they are screeching against each other.
If you can’t take apart the gearbox, send it to a repair shop.
