Wireless window/door alarm systems for apartments?
I used to live in a first floor apartment. I never had any problems (aside from neighbor ones…), but I strongly considered buying those wireless alarms that can be stuck to the window or door. Since the area was not sketchy (although it was near a secluded park with homeless people and the apt. building next to us was robbed…) I ended up not buying one.
I’m not currently living in an apt situation right now, but I’m wondering for the future. What have your experiences been? What products have you used? (Please don’t suggest I get a dog or a heavy ashtray, I’m curious to know if there products people have had good experiences with.
i’ve used wireless alarms on doors and windows
the only bad things are that you always have to turn them off when opening the door or window
and there is a chance that part of the alarm may fall and cause the alarm to go off
overall they are a good investment though
