Why are my hands red and with white splotches?
My hands have been red and white white splotchess around them. They happen sometimes when I wake up and during the day.. I suffer from Anxiety and was wondering if that had anything to do with anything. I once heard that is was the blood vessels in the hands but why does these appear that way?
It happens usually when you are excited or doing something physical. Or in your case because you suffer from anxiety your blood is always pumping. This means when the blood is pumping faster through the body. To allow the blood to pump through the body more efficiently your body will open up capillaries, (the smallest of all blood vessels in your body) to help aid in circulation. This will also cause your palms to sweat more, and your eyes will dialate, because of the oxygen intake.
The spots you are seeing is because these blood capillaries are so close to the skin that some of them can be seen with the naked eye, so they look like splotches, or spots.
