Improve your yard and garden with a plow ATV
Like many parents, Iâ € ™ ve always had trouble with my teenage son to make Working around the house. Iâ € ™ m really big on my yard and all the outdoor work that accompanies it. I do a lot of gardening, a lot of shoveling, and more trimming and loading. For years, it was almost impossible to get my son to help with all this, and I finally stopped seeking assistance at all.
A few years ago, the family and moved to Colorado. And not just any part of Colorado â | € the Rocky Mountains. We found a beautiful house with a courtyard in a small community called Evergreen, about 25 miles west of Denver in the foothills of the Rockies. To our surprise, the house came with a little bonus: a large wooden shed on the property containing an old bike and lots of accessories to go with it.
After arriving at the end of November, we found ourselves settled in time for the Winter € ™ s first big snowstorm. And boy, did he ever get. After three days of constant blizzard conditions and more than five feet of snow in total, we found trapped behind 200 meters of packed snow path. The idea of trying to shovel this huge area has been overwhelming, to what I remembered seeing a snowplow assembly for the old bike in the shed. Hoping that this could be the case, I followed in the shed to see if I to speak.
With a couple calls to the manufacturer of the ATV (Kawasaki), and the manufacturer of snowplows (WARN), I have been up and ready to go. Curiously, I've done it at the edge of the garage before my teenage son was running towards me with big eyes and a look yet seen interest in household chores. Surprisingly, the kid asked me to shovel the driveway, a task he had always feigned a cold out.
In just two hours, the ATV had dug 200 feet of any entrance, and my son was excited as if in had spent time on his snowboard. For the rest of the winter season, her eyes lit up whenever the snow fell, and we never spent a few hours snowed in. During these long hours, my wife and I just want to warm up a pot of hot chocolate and watch the transformation amazing place to heat the house.
When spring arrived and it was time to embark on my tree cutting and yard duties, I found a similar interest in this work outdoors. I would like to cut the branches, and my son does not load them into the ATV plow and transport them to the edge of property. He then spent a week digging up dirt and determination of areas of land for my major gardening projects. In a fraction of the time it took previous years, I had a big garden, thanks mostly to help my son and his new favorite toy.
During the two years, I havenâ € ™ t shoveled a little snow in winter. For the last two summers, I havenâ € ™ t put some work in my garden. Yet, I always research the best yard and garden on the block, and my son has done everything with an old bike and utility cart. And any time the neighbors come and ask me how I had my son so useful in court, I simply point out that the old mountain bike and say â € œGet a these and youâ € ™ ll See, yourself.â €
