Does anyone know why my Craftsman table saw is so slow?
I bought a new Craftsman table saw in 2006 and from the beginning it has had almost no power. I even switched it over to 220 volts and it runs exactly the same. I have used dozens of table saws in my time and this saw is not normal. I have a Makita job-site saw that has three times the power as the Craftsman. What’s up with this? Has Craftsman taken all the power out of the saw to promote safety? If so it has the opposite effect. Or should I fit the saw with another motor?
