Does an old analog to usb adapter for an old HD camera exist? If so can you point me to one?
Does an old analog(red white yellow connetors) to usb adapter for an old HD camera exist? If so can you point me to one because I would really like to get my old home videos onto my computer with having to put them on a VHS then convert to DVD then burning it.
If by “HD”, you mean hard disc drive (or HDD), a USB cable would be better.
If by “HD” you mean “high definition”, would that be HDV tape? Going the route you are suggesting will downsample the video to analog – or worse and that video will no longer be high definition. Using a firewire cable to connect the camcorder’s DV port to the computer’s firewire port is the way to keep the high definition video quality.
If “HD” means something else, please let us know so we can provide appropriate assistance.
