How can you stop the ipod touch’s headphone socket from breaking?
Hi my ipod touch’s headphone socket has broken twice now (the sound thorugh headphones becomes distorted and you have to twist the headphone around to try and maket it better, eventually the sound stops coming out completely) and i wonder if anyone knows why it is happening and if i can prevent it from happening. as far as i know the only abnormal thing i do is watch tv programs and listen to them throuugh the speakers in bed. can someone help please 
The only practical thing you can do is eliminate as much strain on the jack as possible. Perhaps some combination of tape, velcro, or rubber bands can be used to keep the cord from pulling on the connection when you move.
