Does the Zep hair removal liquid really pull the vessel off the bathtub drain?
The tub was partially blocked by because "many years of hair lodged in the drain. I tried with the hand-turned snake with partial success (I tried 3 times, it went the same distance, not an inch more). Homedepot people assured me that the work Zep hair removal. I am very skeptical. All Comment? or only way to do is right by using the power of snake?
Being a plumber, I still believe in mechanical means (snake) for cleaning pipes. However, I was impressed by the products manufactured by Zep for drains. Draincare by Zep is effective in cleaning septic tanks for the lines because it is a product emzyme. Try the liquid, but make sure you follow the directions completely.
