Tub removal: Advice on how to remove tub?
Any advice on how to remove a cast iron or steel tub after removing the tile and dry wall? It’s roughly 60″x32″.
I’m told the tub is cast iron, but by the looks of it I think it’s steel because there’s a lip over the front apron that has a rusty streak coming out from under it.
your going to need help to remove the tub.. so ask neighbours and family members for help.
what you need to do is to take off all of the rubber seal that is used to glue on the tub
and then what you need to do is to lift the tub up and take it out… it’s going to be a challenge
