Soldering : Is the 5.26 lbs propane tank safe indoors ?
I just bought the EZ Torch no. 114.251 from Otto Frei , and then purchased the refillable propane tank ( half the bbq size ).
The label read it is for outdoor use ONLY , yet I worked with it in jewellry school last month in Mexico.
Is it dangerous , or is common sense merely required ?
It’s no more dangerous than oxy-acetlyne. Just make sure that you use it in a well ventalated area. It does give off carbonmonacide gass and it uses ambient air for combustion.
