What’s the best 7.62×39 ammo for top rated stopping power?
Just purchased the Zastava M70 rifle, and I’m looking for the very best ammo to use for top rated stopping power. I’m looking for specific detail, such as brand, grain weight, etc…Any suggestions?
Top rated for stopping power?…… How much power you want”…. Any of my rifles chambered in this round have lots of stopping power…. As an example… All my rifles firing this cartridge will send a bullet downrange that will slice right thru 3/16ths inch mild plate steel at 100 yards…. Doesn’t matter a bit whether its SP soft point, FMJ, HP hollow point… No human, animal or car door will withstand the energy one of these bullets have….. Surely .308, 30-06 and lots of other higher power cartridges have more stopping power but make no mistake….. and 7.62x39MM has plenty of stopping power against a human or animal target……
