Itbecomes needed to repair toilet from time to time it is one of the most used machines in the house. There are two major parts of the toilet, which often create problems: toilet tank and toilet bowl.

Toilet Bowl Repairs

Sometimes toilet is leaking at its base. It often occurs when the seal at the base is faulty. This results in soil moisture in the bathroom. Before you begin to repair the toilet, just off water supply to the toilet. Remove the bowl when the system is dry. Now, after having removed, clean the old gasket and pipe. Fix the bowl and seal it carefully and thoroughly. After all, you can always notice the leak – there may be a crack in the porcelain bowl. In this case, you can not repair it and the bowl needs to be replaced.

Repairing the toilet tank

Sometimes toilet tank running constantly, what is the tank of the toilet the most common problem. It can be caused by some leak in the tank. To determine if the tank has this problem, pour a few drops of food coloring in the water tank and see if the water in the basin is also colorful. If it is colored, it means that the tanks are leaking.

Before ordering replacement parts, see if the problem can be resolved by making adjustments to the length of the wire lever or the positioning of the tank ball. But if you can not fix it this way, you need to replace parts in the tank.

Install new toilet

To install a new toilet, remove First the old valve and stop the use of Teflon tape to wrap around the pipe. Now screw the new valve stop. Install the wax ring or a flexible ring after turning the toilet.

Now it is time to put the toilet in place. Make sure is well adjusted properly. Screw the bolt into the base of the toilet upstairs. Do not overtighten the screw as it may break the porcelain. To seal properly, Put a small amount of putty in the bolt caps before pushing up. You need Teflon tape around the cock.

Attach the tank bolts, nuts and washers. Also attach and hand tighten the flexible connector in the tank. Valve and handful of the tanks should be connected to the chain. Start of water supply and open the stopcock to let the water inside the toilet.
