Is there such thing as a phobia of drains?
I have a serious fear of drains, not pool drains but sink and bathtub. When ever i think of them I get a shiver through my body and my toes curl up. Is that normal?
It’s not “normal” but yes it’s a valid phobia…
Maybe you should try and think about what has caused the irrational fear. If you can pin it down, maybe dropping something down a drain as a child or getting something stuck?
Sometimes working out why you are scared of something irrational can make you realise you don’t need to be scared of it anymore.
