Thermometer Laser

My wife just shone an infrared thermometer’s laser beam into my right eye, while I had my hand over the eye
into my right eye – my hand was over the eye at the time but I could still clearly detect the beam.
Has she damaged eyesight?
maybe u may want to have ur eye checked bye a docter if ur eye hurts or ur vison in that eyes gets blury or somthing because when i was in 4th grade a boy brouth a laser pen thing and shone it in a boys eye and that boy had to get glasses
