Teak wood?
Should you stain teak would on a boat? Are you supposed to? Or…can I?
oops, I mean should you/I stain teak WOOD on a boat?
You definitely *CAN*. The question is do you *want* to. Some people do, some don’t. If you stain it, it will last much longer and never produce slivers. The point of teak though, is that it is so much more rot-resistant than other woods, that you don’t have to stain it. Some people say if you stain it, then you have to re-do it every year, or else it will look like crap. But if you don’t stain it, it will be fine, just look different.
It really does come down to perosnal choice.
