Tamper Resistant
Can anyone recommend a good, tamper-resistant house door lock?
Watching the “Today” show this morning and they had a segment on how easy it is to pick 95 percent (really) of residential locks, including deadbolt locks with a special, easy to get kind of generic key to get in almost anyone’s house within a couple seconds. At the end of the segment, they recommended calling a locksmith or “someone smart” on this to ascertain what type of lock(s) to buy to prevent this. Does anyone know what type (reasonably priced) to buy, as well as where to buy, to prevent this? I know there are some really smart people out there with a good answer as I have got good answers on other questions. Many thanks to you all who share your knowledge and experience.
