1981 xs 650 yamaha oil strainer filter?
hi i have a 1981 xs 650 yamaha with 10,000 miles do i need to chance the strainer filter in the bottom end . i changed the oil it was bad thanks pop.pop.

The oil filter can only be changed - if you clean it good luck with that and your engine life. The screen can be cleaned and there's a picture of what clean looks like in the link above
