Paint Stain

Can be applied over the paint stains?

I have an old dresser that is a bit ugly (the chocolate-colored paint is flat, but I do not feel like scrape all the paint only to stain and varnish. Is there any paint or stain that only you can slap on top of old paint to semi-nice look?

Yes you can, you can create a simulated wood grain appearance by using gel stain on a brown paint (preferably flat though). I built a lot of restaurants usual, with the custom setting and stains everywhere, the door jams are usually steel for firedoors, but we will brown primer paint with a brush on a combination of gel stain mixed with mineral spirits, and then back up to bottom (or side to side) with a full wave motion to simulate a piece of solid wood grain. It looks convincing from a distance, I have also made cheap luan doors simple as that, not painting, but using gell stain custom finish to simulate solid wood doors, but I use a large rag to make the style though. In other words, you probobly I brush in your drawers, then for the best HTE, having brushed or rolled in thick gel stain, which would cloth from a move to another stirring as you give it a simulated wood grain. Its comfortable it will cost about $ 10 to see if you just want fast and cheaper, thinner 4 for gel staining, 6 for painting.
