Slop Sink

A few ideas to help with prison over crowding?

We keep hearing about prison over crowding and how this is not fair on the prisoners, I have a few ideas to help with the situation.
1- Remove any TV', DVD's, computers from cells, this should make room for 1 more.

2- Remove flushing toilet and sink and replace with a bucket "slop out" should be part of prison life, room for 1 more bed.

3- Stop turning a "blind eye" to the drugs and other illeagle scams going on in prison.

4- Recruit more prison gaurds to help with managing the prison population.

5- A blanket smoking ban in prisons, why are they not effected by the non smoking law in the rest of the country.

6- Bring back capital punishment (the death sentence) set a 12 month time limit for the sentence to be carried out.

7- Crimes to be automaticaly given death sentence, Murder, Peadophiles, Rape, Carrying a fire arm, Kidnaping.

8- To occupy prisoners time "Hard Labour" should be carried out.

9- Any crimes carried out by a non-national=deportation.

I agree with you that convicted pedophiles should receive an automatic death sentence. How often do we hear about some poor kid who is raped, murdered, dismembered by a KNOWN pedophile?!?!

I don't know what is wrong with the way they are wired that they can't control their urges ~ but the fact that they can't shows that they have NO place in any society.

EDIT: Crazy Girl is right ~ inmates live a much better life than many law abiding citizens, all on our tax dollars. They don't deserve it.
