How do I fix the heating system in my house?
The heating and cooling system in my house is kind of off. The air conditioning works fine but the heat does not. When turned on auto and set to a certain temperature it will come on for a few moments and then click back off. The few minutes that it is on it smells like something is on fire as well. i have no clue how to fix this myself and it is getting cold!

I’d call call a heating company before trying to use it again. Since it comes on for a few moments before shutting off, I’d guess the “flame sensor” needs adjustment or replacement but the burning smell says call a pro.
When you call, be sure to mention the smell and the fact that you have NO HEAT. They might get out to you quicker since it’s an emergency.
