2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Issue?
Our van has an issue, and I’m hoping that someone else has had this experience and will be willing to share their solution. The digital odometer and gear readings will start to “wave”–they look as if they are under water. Then the needles will start to jump up and down. The radio will pop loudly. The all dash lights will come on. Occasionally the engine will idle down, sometimes to the point of cutting off. Once in a while it won’t start. If I pop the hood and shake the battery or bang on the battery cables, the issue goes away. Recently the malfunction light has come on but has gone off after a few starts.
We have replaced the battery and had the alternator checked. The battery cables are new.
Anyone have this issue or can offer suggestions?

there’s a loose ground and or connection where the instrument cluster plugs in to the power…. have to pull the dash out and re connect it… takes a few hours and you can replace any bulbs that are out too… go to this website www.dodgetalk.com
