There is no need to worry, but the amount of money it has cost is absolutely staggering.
If we get any answers, ( and there is no guarantee we will ) there is nothing we can do with those answers to benefit the human race, so in my opinion it is just a colossal waste of money.
The cost is certainly in billions, some saying 5 billion pounds, some saying 5 billion dollars.
If that much money had been spent on cancer research, we might have cured cancer by now.
