Surface Planer
Running old barn wood through a planer.?
I have a lot of old barn wood to run through my Delta 13″ planer. Some of these boards are warped and I wondered if I should use
a jointer first for a truer surface before using the planer. These oak planks are all 1″ thick and will be stained later and nailed on the floor. Perfect smoothness isn’t essential. Since I don’t have a jointer, what type would I use? Thanks for your help. George
