Sump Pump
Is it possible to install a sump pump in my backyard to pump water to the street and out of my yard?
The reason I want to install a sump pump in my yard is to pump water into the street so it does not pool and flood my yard. The distance to be pumped 60 feet. If I use a sump pump is there a way to power without a post in the ground with a GFCI outlet attached to it?
You may want to check with your city or county before doing this because it may constitute a violation of an order if you have water runoff from your property on the public domain. I recommend getting a professional excavator to give you an estimate to fix the problem " legally. You may have to pull permits and that work is inspected, also face fines.
