Sulfur Manganese
Having trouble setting up chemistry equations. See examples below.?
1) Manganses makes up 1.3 x 10^-4 percent by mass of the elements found in a normal healthy body. How many grams of manganese would be found in the body of a person weighing 183 lbs?
2) Phosphorus has the molecular formula P4 and sulfure has the molecular formula S8. How many grams of phosphorous contain the same number of molecules as 6.41 g of sulfur?
Once I have the equation setup properly, the math is easy. Can anyone provide me with a simple approach on how to setup these type of equations? I would really appreciate any tips!!

= 1.3 x 10^-4 % of 183 lbs
= 1.3 x 10^-6 * 183
= 0.0002379 lbs
= 0.004 oz

Remember that 1 mole of S8 has the same number of molecules as 1 mole of P4. Both answer to Avogadro.
From the periodic table we find that
1 atom of P = 30.97 amu (atomic mass units)
We know that one mole has 4 atoms, so
Molar Mass = 123.895g (30.97 * 4)
That means 1 mole is 123.895g AND
1 mole contains 6.022 E23 molecules of P4
From the periodic table we find that
1 atom of S = 32.066 amu (atomic mass units)
We know that one mole has 8 atoms, so
Molar Mass = 256.528g (32.066 * 
That means 1 mole is 256.528g AND
1 mole contains 6.022 E23 molecules of S8
So, 6.41g of S8 has only a portion of those molecules
(6.41g/256.528g)*6.022 E23 molecules of S8
=1.50 E22
We want to know how many grams 1.50 E22 molecules of P4 weighs.
(1.50 E22 molecules P /6.022 E23 molecules P/mole P)*256.528g P/mole P
= 6.38 g P4
