can i connect my ps3 up strait from my phone line?
i was wondering because i only got one ethernet port in my modem can i connect it strait from my phone line into my ps3
Hmmm….probably not. If you look at the back of most game boxes it states that a broadband connection is required to play online. This is due to the amount of information that must travel back and forth for you to play without any lag or interruptions.
The only way I see that this might work is if you have your phone service through your cable provider, which is often also your internet provider. But I’m not really sure how cable phone service works so don’t quote me on that.
You may want to consider a router. This what I use to keep my PS3 and XBox 360 both connected to the internet at the same time. It works great. This is a really good deal.
