Microphone Jack and Headphone Socket.?
So I’ve got a little problem. My microphone socket is very loose, meaning my mic jiggles around and is basically unusable.
I was wondering if there is any way to plug a microphone into a headphone socket and make it be recognised as a mic? If so, how?

I’m using a laptop btw, and am wondering if getting a usb headset adapter is worth it?
I’m assuming you mean the sockets in your PC. The simplest way to remedy this is to open the tower unit, and tighten the screws fixing the sockets to the internal framework.
