Excellent spec This is my first performance with corner staple, never gave much thought to depart from my computer straight 16ga spec After trying Bost and is totally disappointed with my nails (loading and shorter strips), I decided to try “YES” type of bond angle. The assessment will lead me to Hitachi. I’m surprised how much I love this gun. Blow Off selection is fantastic. I do not know why it happened before? Depth Setter is excellent and helps to keep from marring the material. This is not as easy as Bost, but also for its operation. “Country Note – Bost profile top sales package that works great with the stapler. If you install hardwood floors, molded w / d, ceilings, etc., will make this set (TIPPAK1). If you’re on the fence, do not lose more time to buy weapons.

First pneumatic nailer- success!
I usually do my homework before a purchase this being no exception. This Hitachi is esay to use, light weight, versatile- it shoots from 1 1/4 to 2 1/2 inch nails. I was able to find the nails at both Lowes and Home Depot.
I was way up on a ladder installing specialty moulding and also doing baseboard at ground level. I have been doing it for years with finishing nails and a nail punch- afraid I am now hooked on these pneumatic air nailers- about time

Great for Contractors or Nome projects
My wife has decided that she wanted new crown moulding through out the house. She works for a remodeling contactor, so I asked the capenters which gun I should get. They all agreed that the Hitachi NT65MA2 was the most consistent and durable. It’s light weight, has a dust blower built in, easy to use. It uses any standard nails, except Bostich ( and Bostich doesn’t use anybody elses nails except theirs). It well make for a easy job of putting up my moulding.

well made and trouble free operation
Used to face and tongue nail 3/4 hardwood flooring.
I bought the nailer to replace a very old Pasload 16 ga. nailer that kept double striking. I found that the stouter 15 guage nails seemed to hold the flooring better as well.
This unit worked flawlessly and was very easy to position the nose into the flooring tongue when my big nailer ran out of space. I also used it to face nail the flooring and it was easy to adjust the depth of the nail head penetration.
In comparing the prices at the big box stores for similar guns, I found the price of the Hitachi very reasonable.
Nails are available everywhere in various lengths.

great nailer — but it doesn’t like Bostitch nails
I’m not as experienced with nailers as a lot of the folks that have already posted here. I’m only posting to chime in and say that this nailer seems to be a very fine tool.
My only problem with it was with Bostitch 2 1/2in nails. These nails jammed terribly in my gun. Apparently they are collated at a different angle than the Senco and other nails that are available for 15 gauge nailers. I’ve run several sticks of Senco 2 1/2in nails without a single problem.
