Solder Weld

Is a butane torch/soldering tool hot enough to weld a nut on a bolt?
I seriously doubt it unless the bolt and nut are made of a very soft metal!
Soldering is different from welding. Welding involves melting the bolt and nut until the coalesce, This is in contrast with soldering and brazing, which involve melting a lower-melting-point material between the workpieces to form a bond between them, without melting the workpieces.
