Configure your Chamber of Commerce
A trading room is an area that is specifically reserved and equipped for your trading. This article is about how you can configure your own trading room.
One day I went to the interior of the trading room of a bank. They were specially designed to hold the office trading screens. They had a special phone system and direct data feeds. Everything has been designed to make it as easy as possible for traders to work.
You do not need to go to the same extent, but your equipment and work environment should not hold you back either. It is difficult to trade properly if your computer struggles with the data, continuous or crashes, or your connection continues to drop, or if your work area is hot, cold or dust.
Ideally, you should have a space reserved specifically for trade. It may be a study or home office. Do not children's playground or corridor occupied. It should be comfortable and well lit and equipped with electrical outlets to keep all clean and tidy son, all entangled.
You need an ergonomic chair comfort, and a lot of office space, with all the equipment you need at your fingertips. There should storage areas so that you can store items that you do not keep it clean.
A computer is essential for trade. You need a system that is as fast as possible and new. The IT budget cut will not be enough. It takes a lot of memory, a large hard drive to store historical data, fast processor to help with your backtesting, and a large screen. You must consider two monitors to expand your area Working on screen.
The current generation of laptops is a good option, provided you buy one with enough power. The advantage is that if you want to travel, you can take your trading platform with you. You must configure your platform of negotiating with other packages you might need such MetaTrader or Excel.
You do not need to buy a Windows PC. A Mac can run all Windows software Trading using virtualization. Do not forget to install a lot of memory. A Mac can also run any Web-based platforms or JAVA trading.
The computer should ideally be held for trading. If you have other people playing games on it, installing and uninstalling software, it will make your trading platform less stable. If others use your computer commercial you concerned about your job, especially if you rely on automated trading software on the computer.
You'll need an Internet connection fast. It must be reliable and stable. If possible, you should have a backup connection, such as broadband wireless, you can also use if you are move. If you have the power issues in your area, you should have a UPS for your computer and Internet connection.
Every major retailer has a library of negotiation – you can include it in your trading room.
