Screwdrivers?
I am buying my father a set of screwdrivers for Christmas. I own a fair number of Craftsman hand tools. My dad tends to lose tools so I’m not sure if I should buy a “general” set like Craftsman or spend the extra money for professional grade screwdrivers (Snap-On, SK). Any thoughts?
Don’t go with the professional grade, he’ll probably lose them too. Get a “general” set that has an imprented spot for each screwdriver. This way when he goes to leave a job site or anything he will make sure he has the whole set together. They have quite a few nice little tool “kits” that would probably work great. You can get some private label brands from any hardware store large or small that are pretty good price. They usually have a “pro” grade that are fairly nice and have cushioned handles. Check them out.
