Slip Joint
The foot-joint of my flute keeps on slipping off…what should I do?
Yea! I took a cloth and took off the wax/oil, but it kept on occasionally slipping off and falling. Any suggestions on getting rid of this? It’s really no BIG deal, but, if I were standing up and it slipped off, it could get damaged. So I’d really appreciate some type of answer. Thank you!
You see, I have had this flute for a very long time. It’s not like it was built wrong from the start.
If its not because your pressing down to hard on it, Try slipping a strip of paper between the foot joint of the body’ s joint.
IT might be kinda annoying but It should work.
If not you should return it, of buy a properly fitting part.
