The colour of these tiles is often threaded through the tiles and this makes these tiles a lot more interesting. It really feels awesome to walk on the top of slate floor as it provides a very fashionable touch to the room in which it is installed. It can be grey, green, blue, black, red, orange or brown, often with veins of colour running through the tile. More often than not, it is used to give more natural look to the room because of its multi colours. The Nature has made it in such a way that no two slate tiles are identical. Some people like slate because it is non- slippery and rough. These tiles are timeless, stylish, and provide a fantastic look. Despite all these advantages, slate tiles do have some disadvantages. They can absorb some amount of moisture. This makes it inappropriate for damp areas like kitchen and bathrooms. It gets adversely affected by food spills and liquid spills. It attracts dust quite readily and looks dirty. But, of course they can be cleaned with the help of a mild detergent and a brush. Slate tiles will make your entire house look colourful and vibrant.
