There are many companies that make granite composite sinks. Each company makes them a little different. The Granite to Acrylic ratio you want to look for is 8:2, or 80% Granite, and 20% Acrylic. The reason that you want a sink that contains this ratio of materials is because it creates the most durable sink.
Granite composite sinks come in lots of different colors. White, brown, and black are the most popular. Granite sinks are very scratch, stain, and heat resistant. Most popular household cleaners don’t pose any threats to granite sinks.
Granite sinks are mostly used along with granite countertops, however, granite sinks match most kitchens regardless of the design throughout. The kitchen is the most used, and a lot of times the most important thing in the kitchen, so making sure that you pick one that will last, and that you like is important. Lots of people believe that due to modern technology letting us produce granite composite sinks that they are the most desirable choice for sinks on the market.
To give you an example of just how durable granite sinks are, you can take a key and attempt to scratch your granite sink but you won’t see any marks as a result. You can take hot water and pour it directly into the sink, but anything less than 550 degrees won’t have any effect on the sink, as granite sinks are very heat resistant.
