Self Leveling
Drywall or self-leveling concrete?
Last summer as a project i built a 10ft by 10ft studio in my backyard. i want to finish the inside more, with drywall and tile, but the floor (plyboard on 2×4′s) is a bit warped in some places even though its been weatherproofed from the bottom. I’ve been doing some reading and it looks like self-leveling concrete will solve this problem. But is it better to put up drywall before or after the concrete?
you need more screws holding down the sub-floor. after that put a coat of primer-sealer then go ahead and tile it and your glue or thin-set will be the self leveler. seal the grout and then dry-wall.
