HELP ….. replacing a window screen?
I have a window to replace the screen, but it has not the spline, or rubber room around him to hold the screen in. It seems just to be in a metal frame. How do I replace? Can I do it myself or do I take it be solved? Home Depot and Lowes do not resolve. Thank you!
You are right that Home Depot or Lowes do repairs no screens, but they sell the materials to make your own, the metal frame (you have), the canvas, the spline and the spline roller. 1. Arrange connection on the workspace with the spline channel upwards. 2. Pull down the screen and direct the screen during the metal frame. 3. Use the scroll of the spine, to the spline into the channel to ensure the fabric is stretched. 4. Trim excess and you're done!
