How to clean stainless steel appliances?
I just got a stainless steel dishwasher and I can’t seem to make it look streak free. It has darker lines going down it that don’t come off, I used orange spray, bleach, and a damp microfiber cloth and nothing worked. I thought stainless steel was so nice but it looks horrible and it is only 3 weeks old. The satins aren’t grease it is just like water, I don’t know. I regreat getting it now.
I just tried furniture polish, windex and vinegar and the lines are still there. Do you think that I could have ruined the finish using the orange cleaner. I want to try a jax but I don’t have any. Do you think that will get these annoying lines out they are like darker the then rest and you can tell they are from some cleaning product that I had used and it driped.
Thanks everyone, I actually used ajax last night on a damp paper toel and it worked! Now I am excited to try the oil to make it shiny.
My wife says that she often uses a cleanser called Barkeeper’s friend. It is a powdered cleaner that works well on stainless steel and removes stains.
