Question about orbital sander!?!?
I have an orbital sander with a dust collector. Do i have to use sandpaper that has holes so that it can collect dust or can i use the sandpaper without holes? The dust really isn’t an issue, I just want to get the job done
If the pad on the sander has holes in it, get sanding discs that match the pad. If the pad on the sander doesn’t have holes, it doesn’t matter.
FYI, the dust collector bag on an orbital sander is a joke. It collects 10% of the dust at best, no matter what sanding discs you use. The dust collector will work with a vacuum attached though, but that makes it cumbersome.
