How do I get my title changed post from rural areas to the city?
I live in a tract housing complexes in Germantown, MD. 30 years ago, this area was farmland, now it is a dense suburb. Postal carriers still deliver all mail from vehicles and will not leave their vehicle, or even look out a foot to put in a mailbox. If cars are parked (legally) in the way of them being able to align the window of their truck perfectly with a mailbox, they do not deliver. It is grotesque. This area should be either a walking route or carriers should be required to take or send a few feet from time to time to deliver the mail. It is far-street parking sufficient to support a rural delivery style. How can we get the local postmaster to change the route type carrier and stop this stupidity?
USPS has a web site and they offer ways for you to connect any difficulties for them. I would like to begin By this ……. the more they give the addresses of your local postmasters, etc. you have the Internet to use for your interest! You can not be able to do this without a petition signed by others in your location, but you can make things happen and be proactive! CONGRATULATIONS! want to be proactive and help bring the solution instead of just complaining about the problem!
