Air Tight Fans Zero leakage and Blowers
NISCO Fan Co. has developed gas-tight and zero leakage fans and blowers for containment of compounds organic and inorganic compounds in industrial process plants and other critical applications. construction and sealing devices are available for the fan requiring zero or minimal gas leakage into and out of the box.
NISCO has a lot of experince with gas tight seals multi-storey building and zero leakage on fans and blowers, including: tree lip, Buna-N, Viton and Teflon seals; mechanical shaft seals, gasketing Special fan housing, single and double O-rings of carbon, hermetically sealed blowers; seals magnetofluidic and FERROFLUIDIC and packed gland with fluid barrier and seals purgeable.

Some special materials and alloys commonly used for fans gas tight, especially for service in hazardous, abrasive, corrosive and high temperature environments, including:
Corten, ASTM A36 carbon Steel, Hastelloy, Inconel, stainless steels of different types, Titanium, Monel, aluminum, Teflon, rubber lining. These materials are typical applications Industrial requiring high strength alloys and super alloys too.
As an intermediate step between conception and design of fan standrard airtight, NISCO offers some stages of building low leakage on fans and blowers – for industrial cusomers calling minimize leakage fans because of the presence of toxic or corrosive gases in the air stream. Since some system requirements are more stringent than the others, and because some of the changes needed can be quite expensive, some low levels of leakage of the fan design is proposed either:
1) housing construction with heavy gauge side of the housing disk solid neoprene gaskets and Viton, Buna-N lip seal Rubber tree type.
2) Full face gaskets, silicone red or white nitrile.
3) Contiunuosly welded fan housings;
4) purge gas mechanical seals to replace lip seals – for better sealing of the opening hole of the tree.
I to achieve a good seal, mechanical seal must be purged. The pressure recommended serving is 2 to 5 PSI above the pressure process gas.
Lip seals are furnished with two sealing elements, each with a stainless steel spring to maintain surface contact. The seal assembly is lubricated with "Never seez. The seals are double or triple carbon cycle seals mounted in a carbon steel housing. The seal housing is provided with two drain ports.
To ensure a good seal the fan, or Soap Bubble Chalk / Kerosene tesing of assembling the fan is running. This ensures that continuous weld seams completely sealed housing (sealed liquids).
