How do I access my pc desktop from mac osx for file share?
For example when I want to move files/folders over to my mac from my pc I type my router ip then my mac username then desktop e.g. \xxx.xxx.x.xmac-usernameDesktop
I just want to know how to do it the other way round now. Because right now there is an explorer window open in windows with my mac desktop files showing. I want to now this this on my mac because I want to save something directly to my pc from my mac.
Currently I only know how to save from my pc directly to my mac desktop.
Help is appreciated.
Basically, in the Finder, you select Go | Connect to Server, and enter
smb://servername/sharename
