How do you program 97 Ford Taurus keypad?
I would like to know how to program the key less keypad entry
also would it be possible to buy remote entry/alarm without going to a dealership paying top dollar
If it is equipped with the keyless entry keypad, you should be able to purchase a new remote that will work for it. Simply cycle the key off and on about eight times, and the door locks will lock and unlock to indicate that it is in programming mode. Hold anyone of the buttons of your new remote unitl you hear the lock cycling again to advise you that your new remote has been programmed successfully. As far as finding out the factory programmed key pad code, there is a module, the same one that controls your remote door locks, that will have the factory five digit keypad code on it. Don’t know where it is on your particular vehicle though. Hope this helps.
