Remote Door
My Craftsman garage door remote doesn’t open the garage until I get real close. Does anyone know why?
Lately, my husband and I have been having the same trouble with our garage door openers. The keypad opener works just fine, but our remotes don’t allow us to open the garage door unless we are within about 2 feet of the garage, whereas we used to be able to open it from the street as we were pulling into the driveway. Closing the garage door with the remote is not a problem.
Does anyone know why we would be having trouble with opening the garage door with both remotes.
PS, we changed the battery on one of them to see if that was the problem, but it didn’t solve anything.
