Red Head
What type of insect has a red head, black body and transparent wings of the length of his body lose?
Someone else posted this question and did not get the right answer. Now I have the same thing in my house … and I do not know what it is or how to get rid of. I live in Los Angeles County. It's the end of August and hot as hell, if none of this info helps someone understand what it is. They are box elder bugs … They look different. These things are scarce, the size of a tic tac. The black, ribbed swollen abdomen kind are compared to the rest of the body and the head is red. What's really scary are the wings moving around my bed … ewww … What's this?
The first thing is the wings. Some insects, the most common are ants and termites, shed their wings after mating. It is very difficult to identify insects, without photos, but I know red ants head.
