Related to my previous poetic invention the crapee, the weirdee has evolved from a blend of haiku and steam engine service manual.
The ballad of communist acorns
Oh Oh Oh Oh eight millimetre ring spanner
How I dote upon thine cranked nature
I marvel at the mechanical advantage
afforded by your offset design
Hanker do I not for the trickeries of ratcheting rings
And the bourgeois allure of chrome vanadium
For I find contentment in the drop forged billet from China
Nestled in my cabinet of case hardened cheese
Penfold, your literary genuis is unsurpassed. I shall arrange for you to meet the Queen, I am sure she is seeking a laureat. I am not sure she will grasp the underlying communist critique expressed through an industrial metaphor, but she knows a little about gas central heating installations, being fond of the CORGI.
