I have a small fountain pump , can I fit a uv filter onto it?
and if so how and which one do I need/get ?
Does the uv filter need it’s own power supply?

My pump cost me about £60 ten years ago , I think it can pump water around but not with high pressure
Yes you can buy a Filter Box, with a UV Filter incorporated, from many places.
They do require their own power supply.
As for which one to get, that all depends on the capacity of your pond, and the flow rate of your fountain pump.
If however your fountain pump is only for fountains, not fountains and waterfalls, you won’t have the means to pump the water through the filter box.
There are other options available;- Barley Straw is very good for controlling algae, and there are a variety of pond specific chemicals available for the suppression of most problems, fin rot etc.
