Cost of Heat Pump vs. Condenser?
Does any one know how much more a heat pump condenser unit cost vs. a strait A/C condenser unit? Assuming both have a 2-ton capacity.
I’m talking in general. Is it 10% , 25% or 100% more?
the cost difference between an a/c system and a heat pump is about $600…..maybe 20%-30%. defiantly worth it in the long run. get a high seer rating…like 19 seer….the energy savings will pay the cost difference back in a few years.
