What is the correct way of storing silk clothing?
Usually they are just simply folded and stacked . I do see the shops clipping them or handing them by the ‘satin strings’, the ones sewed on the inside of clothes to hang up.
but im afraid that clipping them will cause a permanent mark and hanging them using those strings will ‘pull’ at the cloth goin slightly out of shaped or stretched.
So whats the correct way of keeping them?
i would use a satin padded hanger,if your hanging them up .
if your folding them fold each item in tissue paper. and store them in an air tight container or in one of those space saver bags.
