Ford 7.3 liter diesel power steering pump pulley is loose…how do you tighten it? A big allen wrench?
looks like an allen head bolt.. but is it that simple or is it pressed on
I think you are probably mistaken. It is a press on, and unless something weird is going on, it is the bearings in the pump going out. You have to have a P/S pulley puller to get the pulley off, then replace the pump, and use the same tool to go back on. I think Auto Zone might have a loaner tool if you buy the pump there
