Power and Dependability
These are just two of the various positive terms associated with the Dodge brand. Far from being an overnight success, it took more or less a hundred years to establish the name of Dodge and propel it as one of the reputedly-resilient products of the automotive industry. The Dodge legacy can be perceived as a success story of two brilliant brothers who maximized their gift for machinery. It all began in the early 1900s, when John and Horace Dodge began their fruitful careers as bicycle manufacturers in their father’s shop in Michigan. But even with the success of the said business, they decided to jump industries to pursue a name in producing mechanical parts to a fledgling automotive world. And it didn’t take long for recognition to come, as John and Horace easily adapted their skills and talents to this new industry. Then, forging a partnership with Henry Ford under the Ford Motor Company, the two brothers agreed for a 10 percent profit share from the company in exchange for the application of all Dodge parts in the Ford car assembly. It was an alliance that lasted for twelve years, until John and Horace Dodge felt the time to again embark on another adventure; that is to build and design their very own automobiles.
The resulting Dodge Brothers Motor Vehicle company was a very successful venture in terms of stamping the Dodge brand with traits of value and dependability. Even when the said Dodge Company was bought by the Chrysler Corporation as part of its fleet of brands, the Dodge name has strongly retained its reputation for powerful and reliable cars. As can be seen throughout its history, Dodge has introduced a series of exemplary vehicle models that serves as a reminder of the legendary strength of the Dodge brand. Among its bestsellers are the Dodge Durango, Dakota, Avenger, Challenger, Viper, Stratus, and a long list of others. All of these Dodge models are comprised of high quality Dodge parts. There is the Dodge Catalytic Converter, Dodge Radiators, Dodge Fuel Tanks, Dodge Wheels, Dodge Window Regulators, Dodge Grilles, and a slew of other Dodge parts that are all marked with the superior performance that Dodge is well-known for.
Thus, when an auto part of a Dodge model reaches its maximum lifespan, it is definitely an investment to replace it with another authentic Dodge part. As with its history and reputation for value, it is without a doubt a valuable investment for the vehicle. Quality can never be questioned from a Dodge brand, as even before Dodge even shot to fame as a brand for durable and powerful cars, it started first as a producer of specially durable and powerful auto parts.
